4-6 November 2020 – @EcologyWis #WISEmeeting
The Women in Science-Ecology (WiSE) conference addresses a number of questions covering diversity and equality – mainly in a European context.
The conference will have a number of live presentations and roundtables, with a long list of pre-recorded talks that will be made available online.
The conference looks very interesting in terms of putting equitable participation in academe into action, covering topics such as: gender equality and productivity, harassment, discrimination, Codes of Conduct, and leadership. There is also an emphasis to look at how different scientific societies are viewing these topics.
Register here https://www.wisecology.net/ – with a low fee of €10.
The conference is organised by the equality commission of the Spanish Association of Terrestrial Ecology (AEET).
