Generation Research is putting together two collaborative indexes to help researchers in developing their community science practice.

  • The first listing is for FOSS tools and services, for example covering areas like: crowdsourcing, collaborative working, or data science tools.
  • The second is a list of projects to demonstrate good practice in what can be achieved when engaging more with the public, with an emphasis of showing the different types of spaces and event formats that can be created: environmental monitoring, book sprints and dashes, or DIY universities.

Join us over at the open spreadsheet on the CryptPad platform and add items or leave a comment.

In early June 2019 highlights of the Community Science Index will be published on GenR and at a later date an open collaborative paper will follow summarizing the findings of the indexing process.
